Wow, my last post on here was 15 months ago!
Life seems to have gotten in the way for a good long while…
A lot has changed for me since my last post. I now live and work on the National Trust’s Lanhydrock estate in Cornwall. The pull and alure of the South West was just too much after completing the South West Coast Path in 2010, and I made the decision to uproot from my northern purlieu – a distance of over 400 miles!
I am now a fully fledged Ranger, having graduated from the NT Academy Ranger Training Programme and taking up my current post at Lanhydrock in June last year (of more later).
I’ve been wandering, as always, during my blog hiatus. I’ve decided to start blogging again mainly because I miss it. I find keeping a record of much of what I do and see through this blog helps me to recollect and refine my experiences. I also have a few ideas in the pipeline that I want to experiment with (again, of more later).
So, here it goes. Wandering Woody is back!
